Hey y'all! I did something I swore I'd never do again - started a Facebook group! Ah! (Read the About section for details on that.)
One of my wonderful Mamas + Coffee Connection contributors, Meghan, suggested the idea and at first I wasn't so sure about it, but ultimately it is another great way to expand on this M+C community!
If you don't know, Mamas + Coffee Connection is a weekly Instagram loop created for the purpose of connecting with other mamas in the IG world. Each week a group of around ten (10) or so ladies ask questions ranging from "What are some Netflix shows you recommend?" and "What are some tips on travelling with a toddler?" to "How do you keep your children from becoming too spoiled?" and "What's your go-to activity when you have 'me' time?" These questions are then answered by others on Instagram, giving mamas the opportunity to connect with, encourage, and inspire each other! What started out as a small group of mamas is now over 70 strong and continues to grow each week!
Our Facebook group will serve as another way for the community to grow, creating a network specifically for those involved in Mamas + Coffee Connection who have blogs and would like to collaborate or link up with others!
This will be the first step in expanding the Mamas + Coffee blog and community. Exciting things are in the works and I hope you all join me on this journey!
